Feb 2, 2017 is the finals night of the contest. I went to Hard Rock Cafe in Glorietta, not just to drink beer or enjoy some ribs, but I'm there to listen some good songs and music created by these young students. Songs communicates through the heart and soul and it help people to be inspired and be aware that everyone has a heart and soul,  the songs help us to reflect and manages our feelings.

FILSCAP's role for this song writing contest is to help the college students to get to know the right way of composing songs and music. Pioneer and FILSCAP went to different school and university to conduct a series of workshop and this helped the students to polish their original song entries for the contest.

And then here we are at Hard Rock Cafe for the finals night, We finally saw the fruits of labor of Pioneer and FILSCAP, they didn't just helped the 10 finalist to be on stage, but their effort helped a lot of college students to be aware of that there's still hope for them to be a song writing. FILSCAP also on the move that they will be forming a membership for students who are into song writing, they need to be mentored and also protected, so watch out for that news at FILSCAP soon.

The 10 Finalist were presented on stage. Each of the finalist will perform LIVE of their original song composition infront of the judges and also the audience. I got a copy of their music, but I didn't listened to it at home. I just want to listen right on the smack of the event and see how their performance can connect to our hearts and soul.

After a series of songs and music and also live performance of the 10 finalist. One stood alone on the stage as his name was called during the announcement of Winner.

The grand prize winner went to Yosef Escoto of San Beda College Alabang for his song entry "Invincible".

His performance on stage and song captured all of our hearts and soul, and we can gave a nod after his stage act, all of us at the blogger table agree that his song with band performance gave us a mind blown experience. That's why he won...his song and piano keys really went well...its very inspiring.
