Experience 9 course yin and yang meal in The Tea House at Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay City

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

If you thought that you know everything about Tagaytay, then you might be missing this new establishment called Qiwellness Living. It’s a bath house, massage, and tea house establishment where you can feel and experience the old Chinese era in modern times and then enjoy the perfect view of Taal volcano while drinking a hot tea or cocktails and try their modern fusion Asian meal while relaxing in a private place that Qiwellness Living can offer.

I’ve been to this place before but I stayed infront of the door only, I took a peek by the glass window and see what’s inside. I think I went there on a day that they are closed because there’s no one inside. It was an accidental discovery when me and my wife walked in the streets of Nasugbu-Tagaytay road looking for a new resto to try. According to their neighbor restaurant, the Qiwellness Living offers spa, bathhouse and there’s a tea house inside.

My picture of tea house is very different, my mind Googled some images on its own and it flashed some scenes from a kung fu movie where they do the action always inside a tea house. But then my picture was a bit obsolete and forgot that the modern concept of tea house is a much better specs compare from the old days. Qiwellness Living and its own Tea House, it’s a small restaurant that serves ala carte meals and also the 9 course Yin Yang meal.

Check out my online walkthrough and also food post of Tea House

My view during our visit. The floor and tables were dripping wet because of flash rain in Cavite.

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

Cloudy and foggy view. But its great to see the Taal volcano in a different view perspective. I think it’s a perfect view ever.

Time to try their special cocktails

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

The best thing about their cocktails is that they are all tea based drinks. Popular cocktail drinks are the Mahjong, The Silk, Road, the Concubine, Jasmine, Mojito tea and Sze Chuan

My favorite drink ever is the Concubine.

I got tipsy after downing some cocktails haahha
I did some recover mode 30 minutes before the 9 course yin and yang meal. I think the mojito did all the magic. But its okay, my body was so relax and I feel awesome.

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

miso + onion + mushroom + truffle oil

Its my first time to try this kind of flavor combination. The taste of miso and truffle battles in this soup. I tasted the truffle after my 2nd sip. Also bite those tomato berries and you’ll get an energized feeling after it pops inside your mouth.

For me, this soup is the best!

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

salmon gravlax + squid ink + orange + citrus pearls + cream cheese

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

fermented tofu souffle’ + spring salad + hoisin vignaigrette

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

soba + sea urchin cream + 63 degree Celsius yolk + crab

My ever fave taste combo. The creamy yolk becomes the sauce for your soba noodles, and after some bite, you’ll get the after taste flavor of that sea urchin.

The flavor plays with you and this will make you get more curious and never let you go until you are satisfied with the taste.

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

flank steak + sweet potatoes + french beans + mushrooms

At first, I thought that this 9 course meal will not satisfy me, but after my 6th meal, I felt that my tummy is already full. hahaha.. that is so weird.

This preparation is very popular in some luxury hotels, You can also get a chance to try it here at the Tea House of Qiwellness Living.

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

lamb belly + carrots + pumpkin + peas + corn

My tummy is already full, but my taste buds is roaring for some more. The lamb belly is a new kind of lamb meat offering, its my first time to try it and the taste is heavenly. Medyo bitin, but I’m very satisfied with the taste and the veggie combination.

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

guava + mango + lemon + edible flowers + herbs + soil (not a real soil, its like a choco crumbs)

Bravo to the kitchen team of Tea House at Qiwellness Living.
Every food preparation for the 9 course yin and yang meal is a masterpiece.

Qiwellness Living in Tagaytay

The Tea House at Qiwellness Living is a good addition to the restaurant belt of Tagaytay City. Its new but the concept is very different from the other establishments. The bath house is a great product and service offered by Qiwellness, thanks to the Taal volcano view and the cold weather. The view is the best selling point here, but the service is great and the food tastes more better and they can expand the taste if you want to.

It’s a great venue for couples who want to have a very private date or dinner.
